About the role:
With a strong culture for internal progression and mobility, we have an opening for a Corporate Accountant in our Group Finance Team who will lead a critical role in the preparation and presentation of monthly consolidated financial reports (statutory based). This role provides scope for you to also own and be accountable for maintaining accounting of the group leases portfolio under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
As the Corporate Accountant, your day to day will vary, but be grounded in a set of core monthly and annual financial reporting consolidations. Outside of these processes, you will be supporting the team as we look to connect, collaborate, and partner across the Group to create value and achieve our leading goals.
This is where you come in:
- Prepare and analyse the monthly statutory consolidation package for both the Management and Board of Directors including but not limited to.
- Profit & Loss statements
- Balance Sheet
- Ancillary reports, e.g., inventory, banking covenants
- Consolidation entries
- Management of IFRS16 Lease accounting using LOIS software system, working with the Assistant Accountant to ensure all leases across the Company are reported and reconciled monthly.
- Work with auditors on group and local audits to ensure all queries resolved and any information required is provided using Auditor’s software to upload data
- Reconciliation of Accounts Receivable and Payable between FPA and our parent. Work with other entities in our group monthly to ensure resolution of missing transactions or issues intercompany.
- Complete preparation of PBC (Prepared by Company) pack required by Parent for quarterly and year end reporting.
- Work with the Finance teams in our business units outside of Group Finance to ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and correct reporting
- Preparation of annual budgets and forecasts for Business Unit managers for P&C and Sustainability.

- A proven financial professional, 3+ years’ experience and CA qualified
- Strong problem-solving ability, comfortable with large volumes of data.
- Curious mindset with the ability to maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders.
