We are currently looking for a skilled Formwork Carpenter with expertise in concrete construction, restoration, and steel fixing to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in constructing formwork for concrete structures, shaping steel reinforcements, and carrying out various concrete repairs with precision and high-quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:
* Constructing, assembling, and dismantling formwork for various concrete elements like foundations, walls, columns, beams, and slabs.
* Interpreting blueprints and specifications to determine formwork and steel fixing requirements.
* Accurately measuring, cutting, and assembling timber or metal formwork components.
* Positioning and securing formwork for concrete pours and fixing steel reinforcements (rebar) according to specifications.
* Performing concrete construction and restoration work using diverse repair products and techniques.
* Collaborating effectively with other trades to ensure smooth concrete pouring and finishing processes.
* Monitoring and maintaining worksite safety, adhering to all guidelines and best practices.
* Inspecting formwork, steel reinforcement, and completed concrete repairs to ensure quality standards are met.
* Safely and effectively using hand and power tools for related tasks.

To be successful in this role, you should have:
* At least three years of demonstrable experience as a Formwork Carpenter, with a focus on concrete construction, restoration, and steel fixing.
* The ability to read and understand construction drawings and blueprints.
* The capacity to work independently and confidently.
* A solid understanding of concrete techniques, formwork systems, steel reinforcement, and related materials.
* Experience with various concrete repair products and techniques.
* Familiarity with safety regulations and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
* Physical stamina and the ability to work in varied outdoor conditions.
* A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Experience with formwork systems such as Peri, Doka, or similar.
* Knowledge of concrete finishing techniques (desirable).

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $40 to $45, with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week. Our standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, and on Saturdays from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm.
