We require the services of an Electrical Service Technician (Registered Electrician) to join our New Plymouth based team.

The successful candidate will hold a New Zealand Electrical Workers practicing licence, along with a proven track record in the industry.

The workload is varied and interesting combining electrical & mechanical activities, and will be conducted in both the workshop and on customer sites.

Typical tasks will include:

• Fault finding & repairs to power generation (AC & DC)
• Repairs & maintenance on compressed air equipment
• Servicing & repairs on commercial cleaning equipment
• Electrical testing & tagging
• Installing electrical sockets & wiring up power leads
• New equipment installations
• Reconfiguring & testing of generator alternators
• Electrical / Mechanical maintenance & servicing

The ideal candidate will have previous experience with three phase & single phase industrial electrical equipment, excellent diagnostic skills, and will be able to work both independently and in a team environment. A full clean Class 1 Drivers licence is essential.

Product training will be provided, along with a friendly and supportive team of technicians and management supporting the role.
