About the role and who we are looking for:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Permanent Full-Time Catering Assistant to work at our Defence Site in Woodbourne, Blenheim!

You will be responsible for:

• responsible for the food & beverage delivery to the clients
• assisting in basic food preparation and presentation
• general dining hall duties
• provide outstanding customer service
• assist with general kitchen and dining hall cleaning duties including washing dishes
• operation of cash register

Ideal skills and experience you will have:

If you're our ideal candidate you will be hard working, with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude. Ideally you will already have some experience working in a similar position and hold a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167) or be happy to train for one. You will have superior customer service skills but, most importantly, you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality.
