Job Description
Te Tumu Paeroa provide professional trustee services to support the Māori Trustee to fulfil her trustee duties and responsibilities. As a Risk & Assurance Advisor, you will report to the Manager Risk & Assurance and will be part of a collaborative team that takes pride in the quality of their work and relationships across the organisation.
You'll play an essential role in supporting, risk management, assurance, and health & safety activities, contributing to impactful initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with internal teams to provide risk, assurance, and health & safety guidance.
- Partner with stakeholders to maintain accurate risk registers and implement mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote compliance and enhance organizational capability.
- Provide concise reporting to leadership teams, contributing to strategic and operational decisions.
- Facilitate training and advice to ensure teams are equipped to manage risk and meet legislative requirements.
Key Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in either risk, assurance, or health & safety.
- A willingness to learn and help out across broad responsibilities when needed.
- Proven ability to foster relationships and work effectively within diverse teams.
- Strong communication skills to present complex information clearly and effectively.
- Commitment to incorporating Tikanga Māori and Te Reo Māori into your work.
