Are you a passionate and experienced marketing events professional looking to make a significant impact? At PwC, our Communications & Marketing team is dedicated to creating and executing innovative campaigns that enhance client relationships and offer valuable insights. We are seeking a talented Marketing Events Managerin Pōneke / Wellington, to lead our event management efforts and help us achieve our strategic goals.

Strategic Role: As the Marketing Events Manager, you'll be at the forefront of planning and executing high-impact events that align with our firm's strategy. Your leadership will be pivotal in supporting our mission to deliver differentiated value to PwC's clients.

Collaborative Environment: Work alongside a dynamic team of marketing professionals, wider firm members and stakeholders, including Chair/CEO level, in collaboration to deliver events that truly matter and drive our business forward.

Ngā pūkenga kei a koe / Skills and experience
Professional education with a marketing focus is desirable, but not required.

Key experience:

  • 5+ years experience managing business development-led events from conception to completion (end-to-end).
  • Collaborative team player with experience building successful relationships in multidisciplinary sales and marketing communications teams.
  • Strong people skills, quickly establishing trust, credibility, and rapport with various stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates a relentless drive for delivering outcomes; adept at leading conversations and following up with senior team members.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask, maintaining a calm and positive attitude in high-pressure environments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite; experienced with Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, or other marketing automation programs.
  • Strong project management skills, effectively managing and delivering multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a proven focus on client experience, working closely with the business and key stakeholders.
  • Experience in or a solid understanding of working in a professional services environment.
