About this role:
As part of the Integrated Planning & Development team, your role will be to provide a customer oriented and responsive approach to the cross organisational delivery of business support services. The Integrated Planning & Development team is responsible for the functions of building, resource consents, and land information memorandums. The role will be contributing to the preparation of the land information memorandum and regulatory processes.

Required:
- Relevant experience in administration
- customer service experience
- time management skills
- demonstrated use of initiative
- efficiency and accuracy
- professionalism, multi-tasking ability and prioritising work
- ability to relate to all types of people
- experience using outlook, word, excel
- Excellent keyboard skills including speed and accuracy
Desirable:
- Knowledge of, or familiarity with, relevant legislation and/or the statutory processes related to the Local Government regulatory framework would be an advantage (such as: Building Act, BCAs quality system, Bylaws, Resource Management Act, Local Government Act (easement, right of way and access ways) Land Information New Zealand and relevant processes of subdivisions and creation of new titles.
- If you have experience in administering building consent applications this would be an advantage, however full training will be provided.
- You will have the ability to remain calm under pressure, a good sense of humour and enjoy the rewards of working in a busy and demanding environment as an individual and as part of a dynamic team.
