Dimond Roofing products are used by homeowners, commercial building owners, builders and farmers across the country. We are looking for an experienced Sales Representative in the building industry to join our team in Hamilton. This role will be responsible for promoting and selling Dimond's products and services whilst building and maintaining strong customer relationships.

The opportunity:

  • Drive and secure sales in a fast-paced environment.
  • Support existing and new customers including Commercial and Residential Roofers, Structural Fabricators, Plumbers, Builders and Sub-Contractors.
  • Great interpersonal skill as you will interact with a variety of people including Architects and Specifiers and individuals who are homeowners.
  • Build strong relationships to ensure returning business.
  • Develop solutions to meet market needs.


About you:

  • Proven ability to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities, showcasing a strong sales "hunter" approach.
  • Experience in planning and implementing sales growth plans.
  • Proven ability to build and nurture successful relationships, consistently driving sales growth.
  • Strong technical aptitude with industry experience would be advantageous.
  • Quick to understand the features and benefits of our products and present them confidently to customers.
  • Effective time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Resilience and persistence are in your DNA to achieve goals and targets.
