Trade Finance are a specialist sales and service team offering Trade Finance expertise and solutions to clients across import and/or export trade transactions. Connecting clients both onshore and offshore to grow New Zealand's bilateral trade and export opportunities, we offer our clients a range of trade-related payment solutions.

Due to an internal promotion, we have an exciting entry level opportunity for a Trade Relationship Assistant to join the team to provide administrative support to the Trade Relationship team. This is an office based role, located in our North Wharf office.

Te tūranga | The role:

Key responsibilities will include obtaining all SAP Loan confirmations, managing maturing transactions, confirming proceeds received, sort and distribute inward SWIFT messages as well as assistance to the wider team. Tasked with inputting and maintaining Trade Advance Loans and all Documentary Collections on SAP and CGI Trade 360 systems, along with additional ad-hoc duties, you will provide pivotal administrative and operational support to ensure the success of the Trade Relationship team.

To be successful, you will have exceptional service ethic, accuracy, attention to detail and efficiency. You will be a clear and confident communicator, with strong time management and stakeholder management skills. Ideally you will have some Trade Finance experience along with working knowledge of systems, such as SAP, CGI Trade 360, and MTS is preferable but not essential, however it will be your drive, motivation, and hunger to learn and succeed that will really impress us and get your foot in the door with ample opportunity to grow and develop.
