About the role

Join our dedicated Kitchen Team at Crestwood Retirement Village to deliver excellent service to our residents. This role would suit someone who is motivated and wanting to start a career in the kitchen. You will enjoy working as part of a team as well as working unsupervised.

Hours -10.5 hours per week. Shifts are as follows:

  • Monday -4pm - 6.30 pm
  • Wednesday - 4pm - 6.30 pm
  • Friday - 4pm - 7 pm
  • Sunday - 4pm - 6.30 pm


Some of the great things you will be doing:

  • Taking orders from residents and visitors
  • Serving meals to our residents when required
  • Collecting used dishes, running the dishwasher
  • Setting tables and general cleaning in the Kitchen
  • Assist with preparation of meals


About You

  • Positive attitude and a strong team player
  • Flexibility to pick up different shifts
  • Excellent food hygiene skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Empathy and a love for making an impact on our residents' lives
  • Good time management and communication skills
  • A Hygiene & Food Handling Certificate (advantageous)
  • Commercial kitchen experience (advantageous)
