Job Description
The Company
- Are on the lookout for Surveyors to join their great team.
- They are hiring for their Queenstown and Wanaka offices, although will take expressions of interest for their other offices located in Christchurch, Dunedin, Oamaru, Cromwell and Alexandra.
- The company have been in business for over 100 years and have a large network of clients across the South Island.
- They work on a range of diverse projects such as Skyline Gondola, New Dunedin Hospital, Ayrburn, and a number of large-scale subdivisions.

The Role
- Provide accurate, precise and up-to-date information pertaining to location of boundaries, topography, legal descriptions/title information, set out of precise construction works and land development infrastructure.
- Carry out land title surveys and to lodge them into the national land titles system in New Zealand –under the supervision of a Licensed Cadastral Surveyor.
- Liaise with associated professionals on land development infrastructure designs and prepare plans/documentation in support of land developments.
- Project Management of surveying projects (time, cost, stakeholders, resources etc) and including outsourcing works to contractors as required.
- Foster good relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
About You
- A relevant land surveying qualification
- Experience on land development projects
- Experience with 12d Model and CAD software
- Experience with NZ codes and standards
- Ideally minimum 3 years' industry experience
- Negotiation and relationship building skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work well independently and within a team environment
