Ngā Kōrero mo tēnei tūranga / About the role
The Systems Accountant will leverage their strong technical finance and accounting fundamentals to continually develop and support the financial operations and systems within the firm, whilst maintaining compliance and upholding the highest standards of financial integrity. With a strong level of analytical ability and a process-oriented mindset, this role will design and implement efficient systems-led processes that deliver cost effective, customer experience led outcomes to stakeholders, as well as mitigating future risks, both internally and within the regulatory environment.

You will need to have a proactive approach to continuously improve financial systems and processes, enhancing overall efficiency and effectiveness working closely with the Planning & Performance team and Compliance and Control team.

Ngā pūkenga kei a koe / Skills and experience

  • CA, CPA or equivalent qualifications
  • 5+ years of financial/finance operations/system accounting experience
  • In-depth understanding of financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Advanced technical proficiency with substantial experience using ERP systems
  • Strong communication skills in order to engage with the wider firm
