About the Role

As a Hairdresser, you will be a key member of our team, responsible for providing high-quality hairdressing services to a diverse clientele. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver stylish and on-trend looks. Position Summary:
The position requires cutting styling, colouring, straightening, and permanently waving hair, and treating hair and scalp conditions.

The Role Will Involve

• ✂️ Performing a range of hairdressing services, including cutting, styling, coloring, and treatments.
• 🎨 Applying creative techniques and staying up-to-date with the latest trends.

• 📝 Managing client appointments and records.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

• Proven experience as a hairdresser, more than 3 years of experience in a salon environment.
• A strong understanding of Asian hair products
• Experience in the service industry at a high level
• Knowledge in language, culture, and trends in beauty industry in Asian Countries
• A strong understanding of various hairdressing techniques and styles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A passion for hairdressing and a commitment to providing exceptional client service.
• A current NZ Certificate in Hairdressing or equivalent qualification is preferred.

The position is a full-time position and guaranteed hours of work is 30 hours per week, Monday to Saturday. The maximum work hours per week may reach but will not exceed 45 hours. The pay rate is $32 per hour plus holiday and public holiday pay.
