Job Description

Production Team Leader
We are currently recruiting a team leader for a fast-paced lean manufacturing company on the east side of Christchurch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the day shift production team to ensure production goals and targets are consistently achieved
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving team performance and operational efficiency
  • Ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety policies and procedures
  • Coach and develop team members to enhance their skills and capabilities
  • Maintain high production quality standards, ensuring customer expectations are consistently met


The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role, ideally within a manufacturing or production environment
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and practices
  • A passion for team development and a track record of successfully managing and motivating teams
  • Experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strong people management and communication skills
  • Proficiency with basic office software (Microsoft Word, Excel)
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
