We are Adecco looking for dedicated individuals to join our client Night Shift "Hygiene" team. This role involves maintaining hygiene and cleanliness in a factory environment, with a focus on safety and efficiency. If you have a keen eye for detail and can follow procedures, this is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team!

Key Responsibilities:

  • General Cleaning: Perform cleaning tasks around the factory, including walls, floors, and smaller machines.
  • Water and Chemical Handling: Work with chemicals and water hoses (diluted chemicals), following strict safety protocols. Ensure the safe and correct use of water and chemicals under supervision.
  • Pre-rinsing and Sanitization: You will carry out tasks like pre-rinsing, applying salt, and rinsing with hot water, followed by sanitizing equipment.
  • Cleaning Large Bins & Equipment: Clean large meat bins, smaller machines, and euro bins.
  • Floor and Wall Cleaning: In addition to the main tasks, you will help maintain the cleanliness of the factory floors and walls.
  • Supervision & Training: You'll be paired with a supervisor for the first week for hands-on training and support. You will also be supported by trained personnel in handling chemicals.
  • Safety Protocols: Strict adherence to safety procedures, especially around hot water and chemicals. Be mindful of handling chemicals and keeping goggles on as they steam quickly.
  • Machine Use: While not a major focus, there may be occasional work with larger machines under supervision.
  • Assisting in Production: Occasionally, if production is running late, you might be required to assist on the production line, including standing in the lines during quieter times.
  • Physical Work: There will be some bending and light movement of items, but lifting is not a primary requirement.


Requirements and skills

  • Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols.
  • Willingness to work with chemicals and water hoses.
  • Ability to bend and move around the factory.
  • Strong attention to safety and cleanliness.
  • Ability to work in a factory setting where hygiene tasks may be unpleasant compared to production tasks.
  • Preferred previous experiences in commercial or factory cleaning.
