Are you an experienced Class 2 driver looking for an opportunity with a company that values and invests in its employees? Our esteemed client is seeking a dedicated Class 2 Driver to start ASAP. With anticipated hours from 4:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday (flexible for the right candidate), and occasional weekend work, this role offers a great work-life balance and exciting growth potential!

About the Role:

  • Delivery Driving: Operate a Class 2 vehicle to deliver gas bottles to various customer sites.
  • Heavy Lifting: Handle and fill 9kg and 45kg gas bottles, requiring significant physical effort.
  • Customer Interaction: Provide excellent service by interacting with customers during deliveries.
  • Stock Management: Conduct stock takes and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory checks.

To Be Successful in the Role, You Must Have:

  • Manual Driving Ability: Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles.
  • Clean Class 2 License: A valid and clean Class 2 Driver's License.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of driving a Class 2 or higher vehicle in New Zealand.
  • Forklift License & Dangerous Goods Endorsement: Both are a bonus. If you don't have them, the company will assist you in obtaining them.
  • Physical Fitness: Good level of physical fitness to handle the demands of the job.
  • Reliable Transport: Reliable transportation to get to and from work easily and on time.
  • Willingness to Learn: An interest in learning and developing new skills. Our client is keen to invest in your career growth.
