About the role

We are seeking a maintenance person to join our team on a permanent full-time basis, providing general maintenance services for our residents at our lovely Highlands village in Highland Park. You will assist with the overall maintenance of our village, facilities and Care Home.

The role is working Wednesday - Sunday 10am to 6.30pm - 40 hours per week

(Weekend allowance applies as applicable)

Some of the great things you will be doing;

  • Providing general maintenance services to our residents in our Village.
  • Providing Pool checks and maintenance during the weekend
  • General painting 'touch ups' across the village
  • Responsible for ensuring Health and Safety standards are met and maintained on site
  • Take responsibility in liaising with residents daily to understand and problem solve any general maintenance issues on site
  • You will also ensure our modern care home is maintained to national standards


About you

Previous experience as a general handyman or in property maintenance will be highly advantageous. Some things that will support your application:

  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Strong focus on Health and Safety standards
  • Plumbing knowledge and skills would be advantageous
  • Confidence and ability to use hand tools, power tools and operate maintenance machinery
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
  • Customer centric approach - driven to deliver outstanding service to our residents
