Job Description

Our client based in Mount Wellington is looking for a Painter to assist with the upkeep of internal and external cladding and other projects as required.

Your duties would involve:

  • Maintenance of internal and external cladding
  • Identifying problem areas and implementing solutions
  • Working from heights
  • Placing orders & maintenance of stock
  • Colour matching


Key Information:

  • Monday - Friday
  • 40hrs p/w
  • Flexible shift times (dayshift, but start/finish times are flexible)
  • Occasional Saturday may be required but not often
  • Rates negotiable on experience (between $28 - $32ph)
  • On site parking
  • All tools and equipment will be provided


The successful applicant will:

  • Have a keen eye for detail
  • Be independent and able to work unsupervised
  • Be reliable and punctual
  • Have worked at heights before
  • Have a EWP cert - or happy to obtain this
  • Be physically fit as the role can be demanding
  • Be able to pass pre-employment drug test & return a satisfactory Ministry of Justice criminal background check
