Job Description

The Company

My client has been operational for 30+ years and has been on an exciting growth journey over the last few years. They have grown both naturally and through strategic acquisitions. They are now seeking a commercially savvy pricing and commercial analyst to join their team and collaborate closely with both their tenders and finance (FP&A) teams.

The Role

The role will be varied but has a strong focus on pricing. A key element of the role will be tender preparation for some of their larger clients. There will also be regular business case preparation. You will play an active role in maintaining pricing templates and price modelling to ensure margin and profitability across their various contracts. Your key stakeholders will be Head of Tenders, as well as finance team members. You will also be actively engaged with operational BUs, as well as senior leadership.

Your profile:

We are looking for someone that comes from a financial background. Someone who can think laterally about commercial viability and understand profit/loss and cashflows. The key things we are looking for is someone who is excel savvy and understands what job profitability looks like. Any exposure to price and job modelling would be beneficial but strong commercial acumen is non-negotiable. We are also looking for someone who is confident interacting across the business.

The role is based on the North Shore but provides flexible and hybrid working options, as well as on-site parking.
