Andrew Simms is one of Auckland's most successful and highest profile motor companies.

As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Service Manager to join our flagship service operation in Botany. Our Botany workshop has recently undergone a multimillion dollar redevelopment, and has over 30 bays on one site representing some of New Zealand's best known brands.

This role would suit an experienced Assistant Service Manager or a high performing and experienced Service Advisor who is keen to take the next step in their career. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, have leadership capabilities, and possess a deep understanding of the service industry. Previous Automotive industry experience with a franchise background is essential, and knowledge of the UNITS dealer management system would be advantageous.

The successful candidate will offer the following attributes:

  • Proven experience as an Assistant Service Manager or Service Advisor in a large-scale dealership operation.
  • Strong understanding of Automotive service industry processes and best practices
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Responsible, reliable, and hard working
  • The ability to drive results in a busy environment
