Job Description

Support Workers – Waiheke Island

We are currently looking for experienced Support Workers to work with our client based in Waiheke. Our client has CB, dystonia, riga fede syndrome, and strabismus. Due to the complexity of the cares, commitment to the shifts is vital.

Requirements:

  • Qulaification in Healthcare/ diability support or related – L3/L4
  • Experience with Hoist
  • Experience with / knowledge of reflux, O2 desaturations, suctioning
  • Training will be provided.
  • Competency in emergency management.
  • Assisting clients with personal cares.
  • Confident to handle cares independently.
  • Must have a clean and valid NZ driving licence.
  • Must be eligible to work in NZ.
  • Subject to clean police clearance check.
  • Able to commit to the shifts.


Tasks:

Bathing, feeding & developmental therapies, medication.
Mobility, positioning, grooming, and home help.

Shifts:

  • Monday to Sunday flexible (8-12hour shifts)

*with an opportunity to pick up more shifts.
