The Company
This is a great opportunity for an Intermediate or Senior Civil Engineer to join a fast-growing multidisciplinary engineering firm who have a diverse portfolio of exciting projects, a very respected team, strong future workload and excellent team culture.

They provide expert consulting civil, geotechnical, structural and planning services across a diverse range of sectors including industrial, commercial, land development, residential, infrastructure and environmental. They cover all aspects of civil engineering from feasibility studies right through to monitoring of construction and compliance.

Working on significant and complex project you will become a key team member providing design, project management, delivery and stakeholder engagement services in a collegiate working environment.

The Role
· End to end design, project management and delivery of complex projects.
· Stakeholder engagement
· Responsibility for client projects and client management, provide leadership and technical skills to aid with day-to-day operational requirements of the engineering business
· Provide technical input to projects during resource consent, through concept design to detailed design
· Procurement, contract administration and construction monitoring including client and contractor interaction
· Preparation of engineering design plans and liaising with Council to obtain design approvals as well as preparing documents for tenders

About You

  • 2-10 years + New Zealand experience
  • Be or working towards Chartered Professional Engineer
  • Hold an Engineering Degree and/or relevant qualifications such as a Washington Accord Degree
  • Understand civil construction and construction methods
  • Strong technical skills for engineering design and calculations
  • Be highly competent with the use of 12D or Civil 3D engineering software and design packages
  • Strong team player and willing to contribute to the professional development of team members
  • A high level of technical competence in infrastructure work and able to manage multiple projects
  • Have a practical approach to solving problems and have analytical skills
  • Be highly motivated, detail-focused, and able to work on your own
  • Have an appetite for learning, good communication skills and excellent attitude
