Albany Toyota is an award-winning family-owned and operated dealership with over 100 staff members across multiple sites. We have over 30 years of automotive experience and a proud history of providing excellent customer satisfaction. Due to an internal promotion, we currently have a position open for a vehicle detailer and delivery team member at our Albany location. Don’t be fooled by the job title. Yes, you’ll be doing a fair bit of vacuuming, tyre blacking and washing. These are the things that impress and delight our customers. But you’ll also do lots of other things around the dealership – moving cars around, helping make minor repairs and taking customers on pick-ups and deliveries. There is currently opportunity for this role to be full time or part time dependent on the right candidate.

What we are looking for:

  • Great attention to detail and a high level of workmanship.
  • Someone who takes the initiative to get the job done.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Ability to work Saturdays when required.
  • Previous experience is a bonus but not a must.
  • Clean full or restricted NZ Driver’s license is a MUST.


Overview of Responsibilities:

  • Wash, cut and polish vehicles to a high delivery standard.
  • Vacuum and clean the interior, including carpets, seats, and upholstery of the vehicle to a high delivery standard.
  • Detail exteriors, to ensure surfaces are free from dirt, grime and debris.
  • Clean and apply tyre shine.
  • Apply touch up paint when applicable.
  • Apply Duraseal if applicable.
  • Complete yard washes when necessary.
