Job Description

The role:
Reporting to the Branch Manager, this is a varied role that will see you involved in mainly delivering our products directly to the customer, however you will also be serving our customer on the Trade counter. Ensure that our customers, who are made up of trades, businesses and homeowners, are greeted with a cheerful smile and exceptional service. Ensuring products are organised and ready for delivery and secured to our delivery truck. The role will also involve assisting the team with putting stock away and cycle counting.

This is a permanent full-time role Working Monday to Friday, 8 hours a day between the hours of 6:30 – 5pm. And working one rostered Saturday every 3-4 weeks.

About you:
To shine in this role, you’ll need to be an organised and reliable team player who enjoys working in a close-knit team. Have a customer-focused and outgoing attitude and good work ethic. Physically fit and be Health and Safety conscious, as the role does involve manual handling and heavy lifting. You’ll need to be confident driving a class 1 Transit truck as well a comfortable driving in the city and all-around Auckland.

  • Experience in Warehousing and/or delivery driving
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport to support our valued customers
  • A motivated, self-driven worker, with the skill to work proactively, independently and within a team
  • Be confident with computers and learning new systems
  • Be resilient, able to multitask and work well under pressure.
  • A Full New Zealand class 1 drivers’ licence is essential, and a forklift licence is advantageous.
