Social Infrastructure & Citizen Services delivers the critical thinking, building, maintenance and sustainment behind Australia and New Zealand’s essential public assets, facilities and community services. The communities we serve are at the heart of our operations. Be it through facilities management of critical public assets, precinct upgrades, new energy solutions or professional and technical advisory. We run places of healthcare and education, custodial facilities, we manage customer data centres and critical systems, we take asset management risk over 25 years through our portfolio of Public Private Partnership (PPP) contracts, and we are a trusted advisor and partner to our New Zealand and Australian Defence Forces.

Job Description
We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join our team. The ideal person will be expected to provide tangible support and guidance to Finance managers within your allocated area, focusing on delivering data driven analysis and insights on agreed business priorities while effectively communicating value opportunities and influencing business stakeholders to select more high value growth outcomes.

Responsibilities
The role has a broad remit, with key responsibilities outlined below:

  • Ensuring appropriate project master set ups with appropriate work breakdown structures and parent/child project groupings aligned with.
  • Facilitating flow of finance information including revenue and cost capture by activity and object through claims, invoicing, purchase orders / invoices and timesheets.
  • Supporting month end alignment for reporting including revenue and cost accrual, other adjustments and final forecast revenue, cost and margin.
  • Supporting monthly forecasting and annual budgeting cycles at detailed driver base level.
  • Monitoring WIP and cash collection process.


Qualifications
What you’ll bring

  • A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) required; Accounting/Business/Commerce based degree.
  • Preferred CPA/CA with post graduate studies highly regarded (ie. MBA, Masters in Corporate Finance etc.)
  • Breadth of experience working as a Finance practitioner in a complex environment.
  • Proven experience in providing sound commercial and accounting advice to management and financial skills.
  • Experience in the preparation of visual management tools to drive outstanding financial performance.
  • Demonstrated management experience within a collaborative working environment.
