We design, build, install, service and maintain industrial and commercial refrigeration, heating ventilation and cooling systems throughout Aotearoa New Zealand. We offer an innovative, flexible and tailored approach that focuses on customer needs without compromising on quality or efficiency. Excel Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Limited started in 2005 in small-town Hāwera, Aotearoa New Zealand, to meet a gap in the area’s industrial refrigeration service market. We were five guys with big dreams – four technicians and one apprentice. Excel has been dedicated to developing the next generation of quality technicians ever since. We’ve grown fast, spreading to New Plymouth and Waikato in 2008, Manawatu in 2010, and Auckland in 2013. Excel Group now has 10 businesses working in every region of the North Island. We’re proud to be 100% Aotearoa New Zealand-owned and operated. We are currently training more than 40 apprentices and due to ongoing growth, we are constantly looking for more. Add in the technicians, engineers, electricians etc and there are now over 300 Excel staff nationwide.
