  • Role can be based in Takapuna or Wellington offices

Partners Life, is on a mission to build a brighter and more secure future for all New Zealanders—and they’re looking for an exceptional Product Marketing & Communications Manager to join their dynamic Product Team.

Partners Life is a first-rate insurance provider committed to innovation and customer-centric solutions. With a focus on elevating Kiwi financial literacy, they deliver cutting-edge products and services that resonate with customers across various segments and channels.

The Role
This is a newly created role, reporting to the General Manager of Product Development. You will be taking the lead on translating complex, technical product information into compelling, customer-focused communications. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for developing impactful content—from case studies and brochures to detailed product materials—ensuring that every message supports Partners Life’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create clear, persuasive content that highlights our client’s unique value propositions for advisers, staff, and customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including Marketing, Legal, and Distribution) to roll out effective product campaigns.
  • Manage the product content calendar and collateral register, ensuring all materials are innovative, on-brand, and in compliance with industry standards.
  • Utilise marketing automation tools and data analytics where we can to ensure we are delivering to purpose.
  • Constantly explore new ways to enhance the customer experience, challenging the status quo and driving innovative ideas.
  • Work closely with third-party providers and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and delivery of communications and product marketing initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

  • A proven track record (5+ years) in product marketing, communications, or technical content creation—preferably within financial services, life, or health insurance.
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills with the ability to translate technical product details into engaging narratives. Very strong copy writing skills.
  • A self-starter who takes initiative, works independently, and continuously grows in the role.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation, CRM/CX platforms, and data analytics tools. Also some experience with design tools.
  • An understanding of compliance and governance within the financial services sector is highly desirable.
  • A team player with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ideally a Business Degree (or similar) in Marketing or Business.

If you’re a dynamic communications and product marketer who thrives on turning technical details into captivating content, and are ready to drive innovative product communications for a market-leading insurer, we’d love to hear from you.

Please apply online and include a well-crafted cover letter outlining why you would be perfect for the role!

To be eligible for this role, you must be able to work in New Zealand permanently and be a resident or citizen or already hold a valid work visa.
