Job Description

  • Temporary and permanent roles
  • Immediate start
  • Monday to Friday - No weekend work


Our client is looking for experienced and reliable class 4/5 drivers with HIAB experience to join their team delivering construction materials around Wellington and the region in 2025. These roles are based out of either Porirua or Seaview.

In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting and delivering goods across the Wellington region, operating a HIAB truck to handle loading and unloading tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a Class 4 HIAB truck safely and professionally
  • Load and unload goods using the HIAB crane
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods
  • Perform routine checks and maintenance on the truck and equipment
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines


Requirements:

  • Valid Class 4 or 5 driver's license
  • HIAB experience (HIAB certification is advantageous)
  • Proven track record of safe and efficient driving
  • Good communication skills and a professional attitude
  • Strong knowledge of the Wellington region
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and MOJ check
