About the role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi

As an Intermediate Employment Solicitor, you will provide specialised legal advice and managing various aspects of employment law. You will work closely with a supportive team while also being granted autonomy to handle matters independently. Your responsibilities will span across non-contentious areas such as assisting employers and employees with employment law processes and drafting legal documents. However, you will also have the scope to assist senior members on contentious matters, gaining exposure to both the legal and strategic aspects of each stage of contentious matters.

What you will bring | Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu

  • Possess at least 2-3 years of post-admission experience in employment law
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an approachable, reliable, and responsive nature
  • Experience in handling both non-contentious and contentious areas of law
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a supportive yet challenging environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Commonwealth qualified
