Our client is on the hunt for a creative and passionate Social Media Coordinator to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to craft engaging content across various formats and platforms, passionately sharing stories that make a difference. You'll be part of a supportive team, working closely with the Marketing Manager and other key stakeholders.

What you'll do:

As a Social Media Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to passionately share our client's stories and impact through engaging content creation. You'll be capturing photos, videos, conducting interviews, and writing scripts that resonate with their audience. Your creativity will shine as you devise compelling concepts for telling brand stories. You'll also distribute this captivating content across various platforms including social media, newsletters, and website blogs. Additionally, you'll create high-performing ads on Meta and LinkedIn platforms. Your role will involve regular meetings with the Marketing Manager and PR Agencies to brainstorm innovative ways to share their annual campaigns.

  • Craft engaging content for various formats including social media graphics, scripts, blogs, case studies, e-books, landing pages, websites etc.
  • Distribute content via social media and emails.
  • Create high-performing ads across Meta and LinkedIn platforms.
  • Conduct research and interviews to form the basis of content.
  • Report on content performance.
  • Meet regularly with the Marketing Manager and PR Agencies to creatively share annual campaigns.


What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Social Media Coordinator role brings a strong knowledge of online content strategy and creation across various channels such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, even TikTok! You may have experience as a social media manager, copywriter, multimedia journalist or designer. A passion for the for-purpose sector is essential along with innovative creative ideation and research skills. Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills are crucial in this role along with efficient time-management and organisational skills. The ability to juggle multiple projects in a busy environment is a must. You will have demonstrated success in executing digital strategies across multiple platforms.

  • Strong knowledge of online content strategy and creation across various channels.
  • Proven experience in copywriting or related content roles.
  • Experience or passion for the for-purpose sector.
  • Innovative creative, ideation and research skills.
