Maintenance Fitter
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our team and ensure that our equipment operates efficiently and safely.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Maintenance Fitter with 4+ years of experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining machinery. You will also oversee equipment installations, scheduled maintenance, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair faulty components of machinery.
- Restore, rebuild, and replace parts as needed.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
- Interpret technical drawings and manuals to troubleshoot issues.
- Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of all machinery.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Utilize MS Office and Dynastar (or similar maintenance management software) for record-keeping and scheduling.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a maintenance fitter.
- Strong skills in diagnosing problems and machinery repairs.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Knowledge of MS Office and Dynastar or similar software.
- Familiarity with health and safety standards in an industrial setting.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks.
