Our client is seeking a Product Specialist to become an internal Subject Matter Expert (SME) for one or many areas of their service.
This role requires a deep understanding of the 'why' behind these areas, and the ability to be the go-to person for that specialist knowledge. The successful candidate will collaborate with others to maintain and manage the backlog of potential changes/improvements in those areas, working with key stakeholders from around the business to facilitate prioritisation decisions.

What you'll do:
As a Product Specialist, your role will involve being the internal SME for one or many areas of our client's service. You will work closely with other team members to maintain and manage the backlog of potential changes/improvements in those areas. Your role will also involve working within a delivery squad to plan and incrementally deliver those changes. You will monitor and measure the internal and external customer impacts of those changes over time. Additionally, you will contribute to right-sized documentation for areas of service, documenting your knowledge, key decisions, dependencies and target outcomes.
Being the internal SME for one or many areas of service
Collaborating with others to maintain and manage the backlog of potential changes/improvements
Working within a delivery squad to plan and incrementally deliver changes
Monitoring and measuring the internal and external customer impacts of those changes
Contributing to right-sized documentation for areas of service
Continually analysing data, trends and wider business insights
Following internal best-practices to build, measure and learn at pace
Regularly engaging with internal and external users to understand their priorities
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Product Specialist role brings a deep understanding of product/service area(s), along with the ability to collaborate effectively with others. Experience working within a delivery squad or similar team structure is essential. You should have experience monitoring and measuring customer impacts of changes, as well as creating right-sized documentation for product/service areas.
Someone with 1+ years with experience as a BA (Looking for a career change)
Experience working within a bank/financial organisation highly preferred
Deep understanding of product/service area(s)
Ability to collaborate effectively with others
Experience working within a delivery squad or similar team structure
Ability to monitor and measure customer impacts of changes
Experience in creating right-sized documentation for product/service areas
