They’re on the lookout for an Operations Manager to lead their high-performing team, drive business growth, and keep their operations flowing smoothly. From residential drains to commercial contracts, they’re the go-to experts for keeping Auckland’s pipes in fighting form.

What’s the Role?

As their Operations Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring efficiency, top-tier customer service, and continued growth. This senior leadership role requires someone who can juggle operations, team management, client relationships, and compliance, all while keeping an eye on business development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations, including job scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Manage and mentor a team of Drain Technicians and office staff.
  • Ensure fleet and equipment compliance, including maintenance and servicing.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, securing new and recurring business.
  • Handle financial tasks such as invoicing, reporting, and budget oversight.
  • Ensure Health & Safety compliance and lead toolbox meetings.
  • Implement marketing strategies and identify new business opportunities.
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and staff performance reviews.
  • Drive a positive team culture and promote staff development.


What’s in Your Ninja Toolbox?

  • Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar leadership role in a related industry.
  • Strong business acumen and sharp decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in job management software (e.g. Simpro) and financial tools (e.g. Xero).
  • In-depth knowledge of Health & Safety standards.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A creative and strategic mindset for driving growth and innovation.
