What you'll do
This is an exceptional opportunity to further build your experience with one of New Zealand’s largest employers. Responsible for end to end people partnering across leaders and teams, you will play a key role in our ‘Team First’ approach to business partnering, supporting simplification of the way we work, and critically, value creation through delivering effective people solutions.
As a trusted People Experience Partner (Senior People Partner), you will be responsible for developing the next generation retailers and leaders. You will deliver best in class people experiences, leverage Group-wide people initiatives, and drive sustainable change outcomes as we continue our transformation journey. Working with Stores across South & East Auckland/Waikato/Tauranga, you will be hands-on in managing a broad set of relationships and will be accountable for people outcomes across the region you support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Strategic HR Business Partner for stores across the South & East Auckland, Waikato through to Tauranga
- Establishing great relationships with key stakeholders to allow you to partner across the people model to deliver outcomes
- Implementing HR team objectives aligned to relevant HR people strategy for your Zone
- Shape data-led people priorities that underpin our Business Strategies, partnering across the people model to deliver outcomes
- Building team connection to Purpose & Business Strategies through shaping team narrative & engagement plans
- Managing people risk through the development of risk mitigation strategies & monitoring key controls within the Business
- This portfolio covers 50 stores across south and east Auckland, Waikato and the Bay of Plenty.
What you'll bring
You’ll have proven generalist experience, ideally gained within a multi-site, retail environment where your professional nous, strong relationship and engagement skills, and ability to apply and adapt people solutions that enable strategy, stand out. Previous experience in managing change, a practicable understanding of NZ employment legislation, and coaching and supporting a wide range of store leaders, is key. Previous exposure to delivering People solutions in an agile environment is advantageous, but not critical.
