Are you an experienced People & Culture professional with a passion for leadership and building strong workplace cultures? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior People & Culture Partner to join a dynamic manufacturing company in New Plymouth on a contract basis. This is initially a contract opportunity; you will therefore need to be immediately available.
Role Overview:
As the Senior People & Culture Partner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the company’s culture. This generalist HR role requires strong leadership, with a focus on fostering an inclusive and diverse environment. You’ll help drive key projects around employee engagement, succession planning, and talent development, ensuring the organisation is set up for future success.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage two direct reports (HRBP and HR Coordinator).
Implement initiatives to build a strong and inclusive company culture.
Lead exciting HR projects and bring in your expertise on forward-thinking initiatives.
Support leadership in navigating the complexities of workforce diversity.
Act as a trusted advisor on HR best practices, employment law, and workforce planning.
About You:
Proven experience in senior HR/People & Culture roles, ideally within manufacturing.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
Generalist HR expertise with a focus on employee engagement, culture-building, and diversity.
Ability to navigate the complexities of different cultures and a diverse workforce.
Confident in leading strategic HR initiatives that align with business objectives.
