Ko tō tūranga – your role
As the Senior Frontend Engineer – Digital Fullstack your role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web and mobile applications. This role will focus on building scalable and performant frontend solutions using Flutter for both web and mobile applications while also contributing to backend integration through REST APIs developed in GoLang and Java.
Ko tō mahi – what you’ll do
- Develop and maintain web and mobile applications using Flutter.
- Ensure cross-platform compatibility and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
- Build, consume, and integrate RESTful APIs to connect frontend applications with backend services.
- Work with backend teams using GoLang and Java to ensure seamless data exchange.
- Optimize applications for speed and scalability.
- Implement best practices for efficient memory management and code modularity.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including backend developers, designers, and product managers.
- Participate in Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Strong experience in building web and mobile applications using Flutter.
- Experience in building and integrating REST APIs, particularly with GoLang and Java-based backends.
- Familiarity with React and React Native for additional cross-platform development would be advantageous
- Understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and modern UI frameworks.
- Ability to optimize applications for speed and scalability.
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and debugging tools.
- Proficiency in ADO, Git and CI/CD workflows.
