What is a Pilot Driver? As a pilot driver, you play a key role in road safety, leading the way for slow-moving vehicles like tractors. Your responsibilities include:
Guiding and navigating for a slow-moving vehicle on the road
Communicating upcoming road conditions and hazards to the driver
Ensuring the safety of other road users by actively coordinating with the vehicle via walkie-talkies

What You’ll Need:
Full, clean Class 1 driver’s license and ability to drive a manual vehicle
Minimum 2 years of driving experience
Strong knowledge of the NZ road code and key routes
Excellent verbal communication skills
Comfort with working up to 12-hour days when needed
Additional Requirements: All applicants must pass a pre-employment drug test before starting in this role.
