The Downer Greenspaces team have a reputation built through having great people, access to first class plant and equipment along with leading edge technology that allow us to deliver to the highest standards across New Zealand. Our teams are professional, focused on delivery of best practice on Parks Maintenance/Horticulture services to our clients and the members of the public.

We are now looking for keen, experienced and / or qualified Gardeners to join our expanding team. As Gardener, you will:

  • Undertake gardening work within the parks and reserves sector
  • Ensure that high quality, timely and planned maintenance is delivered at all times
  • You will also ensure a high level of safety is adhered to in order to protect the public, other team members, and yourself.


Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills

  • Horticulture qualifications or relevant industry experience
  • Minimum Full Class 1 Drivers Licence - Class 2 is preferable
  • Great honest work ethic, with reliability and a willingness to learn and share knowledge
  • Self-motivated, energetic, proactive and results-orientated
