About the role:

Are you ready to drive financial excellence and strategic growth? As our Finance Manager, you'll be at the heart of Acorn Group's financial strategy, supporting our success through precise reporting, insightful analysis, and proactive commercial decision support.

In this dynamic role, you'll manage everything from monthly financial reports to strategic planning. You'll lead and inspire a talented team, while being empowered to drive pivotal financial decisions that shape our future.

Day to day you will:

  • Manage the preparation and review financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Develop financial models, prepare forecasts and budgets, and monitor performance against these plans.
  • Provide financial insights to support business decisions, including pricing and cost management.
  • Oversee foreign exchange transactions, manage cash flow, and authorise bank payments.
  • Supervise and mentor the Assistant Accountant, ensuring effective performance and development.


The ideal Finance Manager:

  • Minimum of 5 years in financial management within the FMCG industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; qualified Accountant preferred.
  • A people person with demonstrated leadership skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience managing a small team.
  • Strong analytical abilities
