BestStart Waiuku is seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified and Registered Teacher to join our energetic and tight-knit team as our new Head Teacher in our Infants room. Our focus is to provide quality education to the children in our community.
At BestStart Waiuku we provide a warm, safe and friendly environment for our children to grow and develop. Our three buildings cater for the individual learning needs of our children. We pride ourselves on being an open centre where the children transition between rooms effortlessly, allowing them to explore new areas and resources as they grow within the centre.
This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week.

Role requirements:
We're looking for a natural leader who shares our values and vision who has a good understanding of programme planning and assessment as well as a drive and passion for growth.
As well as:
B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE or Primary) and current Teacher Certification
A strong understanding of programme planning, pedagogy and curriculum
Good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard
Passion and commitment for teaching and learning with a focus on delivering quality
