We sat down with our Senior Social & Content Manager, who let us know the following about the role:
What are some day-to-day tasks the person in this role will complete?
- Managing briefs/content production requests from stakeholders across the business
- Managing the briefing process and developing creative responses to briefs
- Planning, producing and editing a variety of video content for owned channels - from short-form educational Tik Toks to quick-turnaround reactive social videos, to more in-depth storytelling through customer case studies
- Collaborating with colleagues on feedback and our content approvals process
- Contribute to content planning and creative ideation for brand social channels
What is the team culture and environment like?

What projects / work will the candidate be working on now and into the next year?
This role is integral to delivering our content strategy and creates content that drives brand consideration, demonstrates our expertise in banking and finance, and enables us to participate in key conversations taking place within the public sphere.
What is your management style?
Collaborative and supportive. I value the expertise of my team and am here to set a clear vision, pull the right levers when the team need support, and enable the team to work on the stuff that adds the most value.
What is the most exciting thing about this opportunity?
The variety. These roles are dedicated to creating assets and outputs for content marketing so the day-to-day variety will be second to none, and the content you'll be creating will be consideration-focused and purpose driven.
What do we want you to know before you apply?
We're looking for someone who is passionate about making great content, understands what makes good content for digital channels (especially social media), and is up to the challenge of delivering engaging and entertaining content in an industry that is highly regulated.
The successful candidate will be able to take the initiative, and have excellent stakeholder management skills, especially when it comes to working closely with senior leaders, subject matter experts, and customers, guiding them to provide the information you need to tell a compelling story.
