Access Community Health is looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team part time as Support Workers. This rewarding role involves providing support and assistance to individuals in need, enabling them to lead independent and fulfilling lives.
We are seeking people who are calm, well-mannered, and polite, as these qualities are essential for fostering a positive and supportive environment for our clients.
Role Responsibilities:
- Personal care: assist with showering, dressing, and grooming
- Cleaning, meal preparation, and shopping
- Support rehabilitation and independence in the home and community
- Provide a friendly and supportive service to our multi-cultural client base
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation and a current Full or restricted NZ driver's license
- Availability to work evenings, alternate weekends
- Genuine commitment to ongoing training and obtaining National NZQA certificates in health and wellbeing
- Must possess absolute honesty, reliability, and integrity
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand
- Days and times of work available: Weekends, mornings, afternoons, evenings & nights
