Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery in a safe and efficient manner while ensuring product quality and compliance with company standards. You will work in a fast-paced environment, where attention to detail and safety are critical to success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor machinery to ensure proper functioning and quality of product.
- Set up machines according to production requirements, adjusting settings, tools, and parts as needed.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on machines, troubleshooting issues when necessary.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas and equipment.
- Record production data, monitor output, and report any anomalies or machine malfunctions.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to quality control, safety, and operations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a machine operator and have WTR.
- Knowledge of machinery, tools, and mechanical operations.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to solve problems efficiently.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
Requirement needed to be successful:
- Ability to follow instructions.
- WTR required
- Pass a pre employment drug screen.
- Must reside in NZ.
- Right to work in NZ.
