Job Description

Messenger Services Limited (MSL) – encompasses SUB60, Kiwi Express, Kiwi Oversize & Security Express. MSL is the market leader in providing a high-end diverse suite of time sensitive, secure courier and logistics services.

An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join our finance team in Auckland as a Credit Controller.

Reporting to the Management Accountant, you will be responsible for the timeliness, accuracy and integrity of the Accounts Receivable process including the management of the debtor’s ledger with the ability to build good rapport and relationships with customers and key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating new account requests, conducting client credit checks and opening any new accounts
  • Managing and collecting debts from our company debtors
  • Responding to client enquiries
  • Liaising with customers and the sales team
  • Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed
  • Processing payments and refunds


The successful applicant will need to possess the following attributes:

  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Advanced data entry skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • A good planner with excellent time management
  • Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Excel
  • A team player who can work unsupervised
  • Experience working across teams and able to demonstrate strong communication skills
  • Experience in a similar role would be an advantage
