Ireland Engineering Solutions Ltd. in Oamaru has a long history in the North Otago region of providing engineering services to farmers, contractors, local industry and residents. Our workshop is attached to the TradeZone store, supplying engineering supplies including fastenings, safety gear, ag parts and tools through to toilet paper. Working together, we have access to a large number of suppliers and trade partners to help our customers find their solution.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Retail Salesperson to join our busy team.
Our ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service skills and be committed to going the extra mile for our customers. Previous experience in a retail environment or engineering product knowledge would be a strong advantage, however full industry specific training is available for the right candidate.
You will also need to demonstrate:
A high standard of personal presentation, be reliable, professional and punctual
Initiative, and the ability to work independently
Attention to detail and accuracy with record keeping / paper work
Good time management skills
Commitment to health and safety
To be a team player
Key duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Serve in store customers and promote sales
Offer technical advice to customers and other staff
Ongoing product knowledge learning
Answer incoming phone calls
Complete customer orders
Ensure Infusion is accurate
Undertake ordering, merchandising, stocktake and maintain store appearance
This is a full time opportunity working Monday - Friday and Saturday mornings on a rostered basis. A competitive hourly rate is on offer aligned with the experience and knowledge you bring to the role.
