BestStart Tauranga is looking for passionate Reliever Teachers to join our dedicated Reliever Team. Our relievers play a vital role in supporting our centres, bringing fresh energy and a love for learning to our tamariki.

About the Role:

As a Reliever Teacher, you’ll step into different classrooms, collaborate with amazing teams, and bring your unique skills to support the tamariki. Whether you’re guiding circle time, helping with creative play, or simply offering an extra set of hands, your contribution will be valued every step of the way.

No two days are the same, giving you the chance to explore different teaching environments while making a real difference.

What We’re Looking For:

  • NZ Registered Teacher (ECE or Primary) – Provisional or Full
  • NZ qualification in ECE or Primary (BEd/Grad Dip) Level 7 minimum
  • NZQA endorsement completed for overseas quals must be endorsed at Level 7 or higher and be endorsed to work at NZ ECE level.
  • A positive, adaptable attitude and a passion for working with tamariki
  • Eligibility to work in New Zealand
