Due to an internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced banking professional to join us as a Corporate Transactional Relationship Manager, within our Specialised Solutions team.

We spoke with our Senior Manager - Transactional Banking, who let us know the following about this opportunity:

What are some of the day to day tasks the person in this role will complete?

  • Providing expertise, guidance and recommendations on our specialised products used for managing Payables, Receivables and Cash Management.
  • Championing product and service developments that meet the bespoke nature of our customers.
  • Developing relationship with clients at multiple levels with the objective of being 'banker' of choice and 'sounding board' for financing ideas/queries/strategies.
  • Building strong working relationships with internal partners and collaborating with the wider Institutional banking team and key BNZ stakeholders.

We are looking for someone who is an excellent communicator, able to effectively build relationships, and influence across the organisation, as well as effectively manage competing stakeholder interests to ensure the best outcome for all.

To be successful in this role you will also have in-depth knowledge of transactional banking products and services, along with a good understanding of current NZ and global trends within transactional banking.
