Ngā Kōrero mo tēnei tūranga / About the role

Our Full Stack Engineers with Gen AI expertise are responsible for designing and developing new digital products and solutions for PwC New Zealand. This role can be based in our offices in Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland, Pōneke / Wellington, Ōtautahi / Christchurch or Kirikiriroa / Hamilton.

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable software solutions with clean, maintainable code.
  • Develop and maintain front-end applications and interfaces, integrating APIs for seamless functionality.
  • Engage in team stand-ups, collaborate with solution architects and other team members, and contribute to high-quality solution delivery.
  • Conduct code reviews, offer peer coaching, and mentor junior and mid-level developers to promote best practices and improve skills.
  • Enhance the application development lifecycle by identifying process improvements and implementing new tools and techniques.
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in software development and AI.


Ngā pūkenga kei a koe / Skills and experience

  • Proficient in TypeScript with ReactJS and NodeJS, and in Python with FastAPI and Pydantic; skilled in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular).
  • Extensive experience with SQL/noSQL databases like PostgreSQL and strong system design and software architecture skills, including source code management security practices.
  • Ability to write comprehensive integration and unit tests with high coverage, with strong critical thinking, analytical mindset, and attention to detail.
  • Effective in working with remote teams using collaboration technology; good written and verbal communication skills; experienced in agile SDLC and Agile Scrum methodology.
  • Understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, proficiency in API development and integration, and knowledgeable about ChatGPT Enterprise’s specific capabilities, including API integration, token limits, and context windows.
