About the Role

As a Senior Product Owner based in Wellington, you will oversee the Finance domain, initially focusing on managing the FMIS and leading a critical support partner transition. You’ll shape system strategies, resolve technical issues, and ensure compliance with security and governance standards.

Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Manage product roadmaps, prioritising investment and ensuring delivery.
  • Oversee lifecycle management of enterprise systems, ensuring they are fit for purpose.
  • Collaborate with SMEs and strategic partners to resolve system issues.
  • Maintain compliance with data security and governance principles.
  • Manage third-party vendor relationships, including negotiations and performance.


About Your Experience

You will bring a strong mix of technical and strategic expertise alongside outstanding stakeholder management skills

  • Tertiary qualification in business, IT, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years in product ownership or management, Business Analysis or Agile Project Management
  • Proven success in delivering roadmaps and resolving technical issues.
  • Experience with vendor management, including contract negotiations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
