About the role
Join our dedicated Kitchen Team. We have an opportunity for a reliable Kitchen Hand to deliver excellent service to our residents. This role would suit someone who is motivated and wanting to start a career in the kitchen. You will also enjoy working as part of a team as well as working unsupervised. This is a Permanent part time opportunity working 25 hours per week, five hours per day, PM shift. it is essential you can work a Saturday and Sunday.

Some of the great things you will be doing:

  • Taking orders from residents and visitors
  • Serving meals to our residents when required
  • Collecting used dishes, running the dishwasher
  • Setting tables and general cleaning in the Kitchen
  • Assist with preparation of meals


About You

  • Positive attitude and a strong team player
  • Flexibility to pick up different shifts
  • Excellent food hygiene skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Empathy and a love for making an impact on our residents' lives
  • Good time management and communication skills
  • A Hygiene & Food Handling Certificate (advantageous)
  • Commercial kitchen experience (advantageous)
